Keeping It Fresh – Managing The Product Lifecycle Curve

I have never had anyone disagree with the proposition that “all products, services, relationships, whatevers get old and need to be refreshed and renewed.”  But there are so many businesses who end up with a portfolio of mature products/services/relationships which  then, inevitably,  turns into a portfolio in decline with nothing new coming through.

Why does this happen? It is one thing to understand the concept of the product lifecycle, but making effective use of it means paying attention to some features which are much less discussed. The video explains what these are.
